Summary1----The Graduation Present

A young man asked his father for a car being
his graduation present. On the day of graduation,
his father told him somthing sincerly and gave
him the gift. To his surprise, the gift box had nothing
but a Bible with his name on it. The young man felt
angry , refusing to own the present and leaving home.

Many years pasted, one day the young man got the news
that his father had passed away, he went home in hurry
and found something sorrow. He searched through his father's
things and saw the Bible. On pages he found his father underlined
a verseon Matt 7:11, "And if ye, being evil, know how to give good
gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which
is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?" At that time, a car key dropped
from the back of the Bible.

Data 1.

The following、from Parade magazine、is the figures which shows the percent of U.S. adults who want to know about each type of news. From the figures it can be inferred that crime news、gets 95%、 is the most popular type for people in choosing information. Other kinds of news such as that of local (94%) and the environment (92%) 、in reality、have a similar level with the crime news. As you can see、the national government and news from around the world are also in the near percentage: 88% and 87% while being selected . However、the arts news、to our surprising、takes only 67%; on the other word、this kind of news、compared with the crime、the local、or the environment news、is just the minority among them. From this results it may be concluded that people prefer to know aspects of the society than something related to spirit ways.

Here are a chart that estimates the music sales in the United State from The Recording Industry Association of America. There are so many sorts of music: Rock、Rap/Urban、Country、Pop、Classical、Jazz、Gospel、and others. According to the chart、Gospel and Jazz has the same percentage--3%、 in sale markets. Classical music 、4%、can be regarded as the same level with them. But compared with these three types above、Pop is almost treble even more the number of them which takes 13%. The interesting thing is that Country and Rap/Urban music get the same statistic (18%) and are the half of Rock (33%)、which is the majority of any other types. Perhaps this kind of music could release more stresses and furnish more pleasure、who knows!

My grandfather’s motorcycle has been driving for about 30 years. Sounds amazing! A motorcycle can be a company with my grandfather for such a long time.

This kind of motorcycle, called 川崎, was the best brand in the past. The reasons why it was so popular at that time was that it seldom broke down. Besides, it could keep more goods than other brands. For My grandfather, this motorcycle has great meanings. It kept countless things, people, and, unforgettable memories.

Now, this motorcycle still accompany with grandfather in keeping goods to fields and markets. Although it do break down some time, but its spirit has been existed from past, to now, and, surely, in the endless future!

Obviously, people nowadays go to large supermarket stores instead of grocery stores for their daily life musts. It is true that the supermarket prevails in many ways; nevertheless, the traditional stores have their own benefits, too. There are three different points can express as follows between these two stores: the price, the service, and the food.

In the way of prices, things of small grocery stores are more cheaper but usually inflexible. However, besides cheaper, large supermarket stores will get lower while some specific holidays.

About the service, large supermarket stores have more employees; thus, they can offer sound information. What’s more, the attitude of the workers are more friendly. In this way, the clerks of small grocery stores are often kind, too. though, the stores have shortage of staffs which will lead to the poor resources of information.

Talking about the food, things are easily overdue in small grocery stores. Moreover, the selection is quite limited. While foods are often fresh and have plenty of sorts to choose in large supermarket stores. The surrounds are also very tidy. Nevertheless, the stores have serious refund system. There wouldn’t be rigid when it comes to the refund system in small grocery stores. You at the same time can buy something interesting, such as your toy of childhood, traditional deserts, and old-fashioned but lovely utilities.

Next time when you buy things, do not neglect the value of grocery stores. Keep smart in choosing things while at the both stores. Then, you will have a good time in “consumption trip” !

My Comment

To reinforce the art of living, I submit three points:
go outside to the nature, share experiences with families,
and visit the art hall and music concert.

The nature is thronged with many treasures. In the nature,
we see the wide sky, the magnificent sea, and the great mountains.
We enjoy walking around the forests, listening the eulogy of birds,
and smelling the fragrance of flowers. Everything is more funny and
wonderful than that in the city. Another way is talking with families.
We have lots of interesting things in daily life. We ought to share them
with families. Sharing experiences help us introspect our behaviors.
People who often introspect themselves will do more well in many ways.
Obviously, visiting the art hall and music concert forges a well-rounded
art atmesphere. After visiting, we can creat some art works or learn
musical instruments, and no doubt that the pleause excels thousand words
when we achieve our own works, which inspired from those art occassion!

We by no means cannot make light of the activites what I mentioned above,
for they are probably influence our future. And most importantly, we feel sure
of our abilities and worth through them!
